Just been listening to the Roker report podcast and they mention how Short leaving might just bring back positivity to the club and lift it. They mentioned Keane and how if lifted the whole club. Might not solve all our problems but I prefer that scenario to the current one.

Of course I can see the benefits, I'd love a new owner to lift the cloud we're under.

What is with the negative reaction from people on here? He's leading a consortium. We don't know who is in this consortium. It could be a Chinese billionaire or a group of businessmen. He's done a good job at Hull City and Hull FC. He's involved in football and sport in general and has experience.

Can we at least wait and see if he takes over the club before we write him off?!

It doesn't.

He took Hull from near extinction and staying in the league by the skin of their teeth, to their first Premiership with Phil Brown in the KC Stadium.

He may be a good custodian for our club.

Pretty sure he was a chairman at Derby during their abysmal stint in the Premier League too and anyone who had anything to do with the running of LUFC in the early 2000s should be viewed suspiciously IMO.

Although they should also be bought a pint for helping to ruin the shittest club in England.

Quite happy with this to be honest. Seems a good bloke and been at clubs needing fresh starts or have had similar problems to us. When can he start?
