Because almost all footballers have bonuses included. As he was one of our biggest signings I'd take an educated guess that he will have had them
 

Every one and his dog has an opinion on this so here is mine. AJ will get his Just Deserts and rightly so it's too simplistic to say what he done was idiotic it's much more serious.

That said, It's media witch hunt, what I don't agree with is the selective attention this case gets from media bosses, when famous pop stars, politicians and people working in the media have done far worse and have received little or no media attention. Some are now being worshipped as kind of demi gods

There actually isn't really new information is there, so hold off on your excitement for a moment.

He messaged and kissed a girl, neither an offence even if it is with a girl under 15, to be an offence further clarification would be needed and there's nothing to say that Byrne had this as far as I can tell.

The club were in a very clear and straightforward position. They knew that Johnson had messaged, met and kissed a 15 year old supporter. He should - at the very least - have been suspended immediately pending the conclusion of the trial. He could not, after that point, have been allowed to take the field for us again under any circumstances. He was, and for that the club are accountable.

The senior officer said particulars of the offences were not discussed, as Johnson had not been interviewed. What he said in interview was still not disclosed to the club.

So the club were told of his arrest and what it was for, which we already knew. But no particulars of the case were discussed, which would have been the actual details of what had actually gone on.

Aye it is an offence to kiss a 15 year old like, if it is in anyway sexual. If the police have falsely told Byrne it was a platonic kiss, as one would kiss their bairn, then aye, she's off the hook. Otherwise, she's fucked.

That's a fair bit different to what was said before where the police specifically stated they only made the club aware of what he had been accused of. Did they say he's admitted it? Also where is this from? On the face of it it doesn't look good but, as I say, this is a very real departure from what the police said during trial.

Hes texted, kissed & fingered a groupie. He has rightly been sacked and found guilty. People like you are baying for his blood & no doubt he will do time.
