Think he was bullshitting, I'd be amazed if you can find any cases where the victim is 15 and the only conviction is for kissing and grooming (that have been admitted before trial - 33% of sentence- , which was the case before the trial) and the accused get 4 years. Just not true.

To be fair Becs Johnsons QC said that Byrne was aware of the evidence, he was present at the meeting when it was disclosed. Byrne could always call him out as a liar I suppose.

You haven't produced a simple scrap of evidence to back up your realism. It staggers me thst your have thd gaul to hoy figures about willy nilly with regards to jail time on a subject you clearly now very little about. Takes judges and Q.Cs years to get where they are but you've seem to have cracked this legal malarkey in 3 week or so. Top effort lady. You'll be running the old bailey within a year where you can rewrite setencing guidelines at will

First two teacher's having sex with 15 year old pupils, 2 years and 4 years, third one the exact offence johnson is up with, sexual activity, teacher with a pupil, again 15, 2 1/2 years.

Wait for the verdict. If the judge takes a very harsh view on him being a footballer etc. I can't say it's impossible but personally I'd be amazed if its much in either direction from 3 years.

Skimmed the first link but seems to be in line with what is being said. Good to have actual examples rather than 'just my opinion' and 'I only read The Sun's headline'

Whether it's 3, 4 or 5 years (or even more), his life is fucked and that's the least that he deserves.

But the defence (inc. their QC have said that they had the transcript of the interview and ALL the whatsapp messages).

If that's not true, then fine, but why the fuck don't SAFC just say that? The allegations put to them were very specific and yet they've chosen not to answer them.
