Adam Johnson Trial Verdict

I posted the thread AFTER the POLICE had posted a f***ing CRIMINAL MUGSHOT PHOTO..... AND A POSTED THE CLUBS FUCKIN STATEMENT.....

f***ing mods....

Mate. His barrister isn't going to be lying and the club have purposely ignored his allegation in the statement. It stinks.
His barrister won't lie, but again believe you me having been cross examined for hours it's amazing what they can say without actually lying

I take his barristers word at face value. Then by coincidence the club ignore his allegation and don't tell us what documents they actually received.

If people want to bury their heads in the sand and think the qc was lying in court then fair enough.

They also won't be suing him for wages although its open to debate why that would be

Nobody is suggesting the club are lying. If you read what they say it would be pretty hard to accuse them of lying giving they completely fail to answer the question as to whether or not Byrne/ senior management knew months ago what was in the messages/ that he kissed her. You can't tell the truth or lie if you avoid answering the question...

Ive been on here long enough to know someone will come on at some point and say something libellous. Perhaps the mods are worried about that.

You are making the mistake of assuming it's the barrister's word - it's not. He is the representative of his client. The barrister makes not claims of his own, merely those of his client.
He's presenting JOHNSON's case and JOHNSON's word.

Otherwise, half the barristers in court (the losers) would be liars and they are not. Many of their clients are though.
He claimed he was present at the meeting. Which the club have not denied.

well said

Why are you and plenty others ignoring the fact his QC said it, said Byrne had evidence and was told he kissed the girl. Because it doesn't suit the agenda of defending the club?

Agreed. They havnt addressed it directly at all. Not once. They have said they will sue for libel and damages.

There are some serious questions that the club need to answer as to what exactly they knew, what they were told and when they knew it.

They've already drawn a line under it. We can bleat and moan about it all we like on here I doubt we'll get any answers to the actual questions.

I don't know, maybe they have their reasons, maybe if he has lied they can't say so.
I'm just not willing to beat them around the head having been on the end of people lying under oath to win cases against me.
Maybe they aren't allowed to say he was lying, who knows, that's the problem with stuff like this people second guess the facts

they arent allowed to say he was lying?

the first thing they would have done come any verdict would have said they are starting legal proceedings against him if he had been. they are going to get some serious shit coming their way and its fully deserved

And the end of the day he's admitted to and been found guilty by a jury of child sex offences.

I for one am just glad that he is no longer anything to do with my club.

Whatever went on at SAFC will have to be dealt with by them. And you hope there are some people with sufficient moral integrity to deal with it.

As for the repercussions for Adam Johnson. That is for the judge to decide in due course.

I just know that preferred method of punishment is not an option within our legal system. Not as far as I know, as garden shears would contravene the ECHR

That the club had been told of Johnson himself in the presence of his legal team and dad that he had kissed the girl.
Yeah they deny not knowing he was going to plea guilty but it's just an irritating that they aren't responding to the direct accusation that was made.
So the club sack him because he's guilty while he's pleading not guilty - no point having a trial then was there
