Academy manager vacancy on website

Very odd indeed. Struggling to recall when we’ve ever advertised jobs on the main safc webpage. Speaks of small time mentality
 

No mention of living in the region.

As I said in a post yesterday, it will be a travesty if Kevin Ball doesn't get that job.
Is he qualified to run an entire academy?

Nowt against Bally, and I'd like him involved but I've got nee idea if he's the best person to run the whole thing or not.

Do we usually advertise jobs like this on the website? Feels a bit amateurish.
Job description including reference to things like Performance Management Application makes our academy sound well run and successful.

That seems tinpot as fuck to me! It's like if we were sticking the managers job in the local classifieds when Ross was sacked.

Surely we should be aware of good people with top reputations in the game/industry and be targeting (headhunting if need be) them instead. Hopefully we're doing that as well.

We should be going for the best person in terms of vision ,qualifications and proven track record of success. No more mediocre appointments or jobs for the boys !
