Abdul Fatawu - continuing news

Are there any of our players that we could loan or sell to Leicester? The Clackerdrome could do with a lift this season
This is what I wondered about Ta Bi, could we loan him straight out to somewhere like the championship, I'd be surprised if he was coming in as first team player

I wouldn't be against keeping Traore nor would I be surprised if he stays. But I think the very nature of his deal suggests that he was signed as somewhat of a stop gap. With the option in there to keep him another year if we don't bring in someone better.

In terms of Fatawu, I'm not worried about a fee of £25 to 30m - he could be a good buy at that price. By all accounts we were interested in the summer and Leicester demanded too much. They are in a weaker position now.

He's only 21 and has attributes to become a top player. He's quick, strong, direct and can score from in and around the area.

Even if he was a stop gap, I think that will have been an eye on the full season, not till January. I just don't see us actively trying to get him off the books, as he does offer more experience. The coming summer will likely bring a different discussion about his future.

I don't think Leicester are in a weaker position and they'll play hardball for that lad. He's clearly a good player, but again, with the options we have available, I'm just not sure if the club will go big this window for him if Leicester want an excessive amount.

Weren't they after Pattinson? Maybe a deal of some sort could work there?

Hardly gonna blast it from the roof tops are we judging by how it went in the summer, and it's Keef so i'm keeping the faith

I listened to the Leicester v WBA game on the radio and surprisingly the co-commentator was quite critical of him. She was basically saying that he didn't always try and could blow hot and cold. She also said that Leicester fans felt the same way. I was very surprised by this as he always seems to be top quality to me which seems to be borne out by the stats.
