Based on that link he held right wing and religious conservative opinions that were pretty much the norm in his community, he just chose to express/support those views with violence. It begs the question, is the wider Christian community causing this kind of extremism to flourish by proposing such reactionary views and instilling them in children and the vulnerable? These views have been brought to the West from overseas and represent the teachings of Middle Eastern demagogues from the dark ages, and now these radical Christians are pushing an agenda which is directly opposed to western democratic values, and tied very closely to a worrying culture of violence and gun ownership. Are they responsible for the lunatic fringe in their midst, and are they doing enough to stop them? Are western citizens safe from these violent extremists intent on killing those they hate, and blowing themselves up for their cause?

some of those christian communities in the usa are real nutters mind, they seem to hate everybody who aren't in their group, iirc it was Louis Theroux that did a program on them years ago, absolute nutters filled with hate
