5th test the oval

I’m hoping my 530pm is on the ball

though thinking about it can’t be as I said we maybe batting

darn it but 530pm all out will do

Still think England have done well as they were only 1 down

still behind with 2 wickets left. This pitch is at its best on day 2

we get in and knock a quick 20 for 0 hopefully

Whats wrong with moving toward the ball and taking it, rather than waiting for it to come to him ? Grab it in front of the stumps and put the feckin bails over the boundry. Bairstow is a fat useles unfit **** who doesn't move his feet. He is instrumental in us not winning this series.
I said this in a previous test when he missed a stumping by waiting for the ball instead of taking it before the stumps, was thinking a lot of the expletives as well
We seem to hold the wicket keeper role in some sort of contempt, it is so so important, hence why every team don't have a batsmen who can "keep a bit".

I wish they would encourage wood to bowl fuller. Especially against the tail end rather than try to bounce everyone out

Today was the least of the errors made by bairstow

it was such a quick move and a bail slightly moved

the slo mo is doing him no favours , he couldn’t have took that ball any quicker imo nor could another keeper
Keepers started taking the ball in front of the stumps years ago, he is waiting behind them.
Not the first time this series.

Are you talking about a run out or a stumping?

I f a wicket-keeper take the ball in front of the stumps for a stumping, it's not out. He/she must wait for the ball to pass the stumps.

Doesn't matter with run outs

don’t recall the incident so this comment might not fit it but unless the batter has touched the ball (bat or body) you’re not allowed to take a stumping from before the stumps and it’s a no ball if you try.
