5th test the oval

Settling in for the day me, 'ear wee gow een the tist metch. Feckin hate the Aussie accent man, a tart anarl commenting. Common England stuff it up these Botany Bay Bassas

Duckett is a sucker for an edge. f***ing baffles me why he deems is necessary to play at every single shot.
Probably he’s done the same for years and us averaging 50 in test cricket since his return doing it. It must be hard to adapt and he was selected based on how he plays

It's just frustrating as it's pretty much the obvious way to get him out, and it's the way it happens more often than not. Feel like Crawley has really adapted his game a touch to improve for this series. The obvious way Duckett can do that is to not play at every single shot.

I think with bazball in general the mode of dismissal is always the issue and causes anger on here when players are seemingly getting out unecesssrily. However the averages of the likes of Duckett, Brook, Crawley etc under bazball are significantly better than what we had before and in most cases very good. As long as that’s the case it’s something I think we are just going to have to live with

Reminds me of the one mate we all had who was ball greedy as fuck playing football. Ultimately dispite all the protests from team mates and the trouble it got the team into they genuinely just can't help it when they are in the moment

Well exactly that is ultimately what it has to and should get judged off.

If someone is a good leaver but doesn’t consistently get runs and scores them runs slowly, would much rather have a Duckett who runs the risk of getting out by not leaving but scores runs quicker and scores more runs!!

Sibley was a great leaver, Stoneman also. Probably a huge strength if Sam Robson also.
