I think the way they’ve approached this is glorified forfeiting of an innings to try and progress the gabe quick enough for the expected weekend of rain

at least they have near 300 which usually leads to an entertaining match as I dont think the Aussies will get many more and even if they did , it would take a lot of time to get there
