Can’t believe he played that shot mind, I am a big fan of Buttler but can’t defend that.

What makes it soo bad is the position of the series, we are 2 1 up, if we were 2 1 down and needed to win this game with the time taken out of the game, you got perhaps understand it.

But we 2 1 up, soo cant justify it in anyway.

Foakes back for Sri Lanka please. You need your best wicketkeeper in the sub-continent and when runs aren't an issue (in so much as Buttler and Bairstow aren't scoring runs) then go with your best keeper

South Africa can't bat man, 350 will be enough.

They have a pretty long tail so as long as we bowl well with the new ball we shouldn't have too many problems.

Buttler has a scrambled mind. He doesn't know what his role is in test cricket. I think he needs to go away, play red ball (IF that's what he wants to do) and come back into contention for the Ashes tour at the end of the year (assuming he scores some runs in County Cricket)

EDIT: Ashes is the following year. Why is that??

I just think it’s a shame mate, as he is such a talented player, and think every England fan should want such a talented player to succeed, but he could have no qualms now if dropped.

Think it’s enough though, taking into accôunt that their batting line up is pretty poor imo.
