4th test Manchester

Playing a game where the rules were written 150 years ago ffs - its not like it takes Australia 2 months to get home on a ship - surely there's the scope for the game to have 450 overs in it over 6 or 7 days if required?

Seems daft to have in theory a draw when a team has 1 wicket left and is 450 runs behind because it rains a bit.
Might watch that later, don’t think I’ve seen it. Is it sky sports produced?
Amazon prime I think

I agree it’s a very frustrating, however probably not the time for this conversation but it shows what a really good side we have now.

18 months ago we were a laughing stock, now we going toe to toe with the best side in the world, and not only that have absolutely destroyed them this test wherever the result now.

And this series could gone have either way brilliant series, terrible way to finish

this side has made test cricket brilliant to watch and it’s filtering down to county championship to provide better and more entertainment all round.

English test cricket in a good place, and put that with the fact we T20 and 50 over world champions means great to watch winning and entertaining cricket in this country.

As much as there's been glaring mistakes in the team I think the selectors have to take a huge portion of the blame myself. In particular with the bowling selections. I still think Foakes should have been keeping, but feel they thought putting Bairstow there was the only way to get him in the team. Been a fairly costly decision I feel.

I'll also always criticise the declaration decision. Proved to be the difference between going into the final test 2-1 down when it should have been 1-1. Fine margins.
