The draw is 1.57 which is the same odds as they were when we had the conversation. They fell last night, not this morning. And I said they might go down or up today depending on how weather progress compared to forecast, which was/is still the case. I don't know if you're on a wind up but if you genuinely still don't see that your logic was totally flawed then you're a lost cause.

So as im now in a position of no lose that is a lost cause?

that’s the whole point in betting to not lose and try and make a profit

if you genuinely can’t understand that, then I’m afraid you are ignorant and can’t admit error

it’s very simple this point I’ve made . We differ which is fine but I’m confident in my experience of betting that in this instance creating this NO LOSE position is the right way to go

I think he shares that smugness and sense of conviction that tends to come with a lot of men of his generation in general, wouldnt fancy seeing him after
a few drinks and with his inhibitions down, but I've never felt he's any less or more impartial than anyone else on TMS. Which hasn't been impartial or neutral for decades at this point. His shipping forecast bit is just that, a bit, and is obviously good natured.

I find it hilarious how easily a lot of English people are triggered by him and Australians in general. Or basically any other person from a different country who likes their country and thinks there's good things about it. Maxwell wants Australia to win just like all of the English pundits v obviously want England to, there's nothing wrong with that, it's good, makes it more fun.

I like Butcher but his jokes about Nasser are tiresome.

Remember Warnie got loads of stick when he was commentating? ;) If you're an outspoken Aussie people tend to have a big dislike of them.
 
Agnew saying it'll take at least 2 hours to get the ground fit to play if the rain stops. So here's a couple of questions for those in the know.

Why can't ground staff be out attempting to remove lying water even when it's raining?

Secondly, why can't cricket grounds cover the entire outfield. I know Edgbaston used to have the brumbrella but I'm not sure they still have it. Cost? Bad news for the grass?
