P!ssing the Aussies off looks to be the plan.

Hoping they'll come out to bat full of hell and try to blaze away to knock off the deficit.

Vaild tactic - used it myself on a few occasions.

Obviously not at this level though 😎
 
Problem with this is the Aussies will definitely be in 'block everything' mode now and they have a long batting line up. A smaller lead may have tempted them to have a go.

But in Bazball we trust.
 
Batting until Jonny gets a ton will not have entered Stokes’ head.

Just trying to score as many possible.

This is not going to continue for much longer….so just go for broke.
