4th test Manchester

Ball and pitch doing plenty. I’d declare now rather than risk losing 10 mins changeover within first 15 mins after lunch once Broad or YJB go.

Get them in now and Nick a couple early and it’s major pressure on them.

If tomorrows forcast wasn’t dog shit I’d make them got back out to field then declare after 1 over, just to be awkward.
Games done if tomorrow wasn't a write off. Although I suspect score wouldn't be as it us without that, its massively informed both sides outlook

Problem is if and when we win this one - fingers crossed- the Aussies will be even worse in the fifth test. Snail pace won't describe it.

In the ground with no commentary so harder to gauge what’s going on but I was surprised that we didn’t throw the bat in that last half hour.

Got in the players’ families section, good crack. Got everything crossed that these clouds pass and we tear into them with the ball after lunch.

Hope to see England still batting after lunch, Broad and Bairstow have got quick runs in them and 189 run lead is still not quite enough. Go and get your runs while you can and get 200+ and let Australia bat the next 2-3 days stopping and starting.

Good or middling batting conditions all afternoon on the radar. Sunday afternoon looks good enough to get three or four hours play at least. I want to see us stay out there get over 200 lead and make sure Moeen has plenty of rough to bowl at

Agreed. Slogging mode for as long as it lasts but no point putting Anderson in obviously. Would rather get our runs now than in a fourth innings.
