4th test Manchester

Would love to see Hameed or Sibley, move from 50 to 100 in 26 balls in a crucial match where we need to push on to win a match to get back into a series.

They simply not capable of doing it!!

Even if they do have more first class centuries against the likes of Derbyshire!!
I’m sure they’d have scored some 100s in what must be about 40 tests for Crawley now. He’s rank, even if he’s having one decent test.

Parity... By tea !!! I know they are good but I can't see 120 scored in about 4 overs... although you never know
Aye got carried away

But an hour after would be perfectly doable at 7 an over. They've slowed down now mind, ironically I think if ever there was a time to go full pelt it's now, if you're playing to 3 days more or less they're still a long way off a win
Travis Head just looks Australian
Just as well he is eh

Australia: 200 runs in 51.4 overs (312 balls), Extras 12
England: 200 runs in 35.3 overs (216 balls), Extras 6
I mean even 200 in 51.4 is quick. I saw an Ashes test where the Aus 200 came up last over of the first day back in the 80s. Only three down as well. That was test cricket.

I hope we don’t declare today. Hopefully we bat through to 12:20 tomorrow, get a lead of 100 or so (maybe more!) and put them under real pressure in their second innings.

That’s not what I said, I said they were incapable of doing what he has done in this session totally incapable!

They simply could not have moved the score along like he has done

What he has done is exactly what was needed giving the situation and the weather.

But yeah have tbh I would have dropped Crawley at the start played Foakes as keeper and Bairstow as a batsman.

As record poor overall tbf

He wouldn’t need to do this if he didn’t throw his wicket away 4 times in the first 2 tests, and we were 2-1 up of course….
