3rd test - Headingley

I’ve only just found these threads. Got to say this is a lot worse than a match day thread. What is wrong with people?
 

Any chance I can have a nice relaxing afternoon, no? Nice 100 partnership for the sixth wicket before Bairstow comes in and hits the winning runs.

That too much to ask? Just some plain old test cricket, with no massive drama. I like plain old test cricket. I miss plain old test cricket.

Aye zero tons in Australia and so many times he should have done better here too.

Batted like an idiot since that first knock in this series.

How well he looked in that first knock I thought he'd carry on.

But went into moron mode in that second innings even if it did bring him 40 odd. Got him out stumped for the first time in his career.

Joe roots average vs Australia is under 40 and against every other main nation he averages atleast 45 against. Also the lowest strike rate he has vs an international opponent
