Dropped our world class WK because Bairstow HAD to play. He’s been f***ing woeful with the gloves and the bat. It’s almost as if chucking him in against the best team in the world when he’s barely walked for 9 months let alone faced a ball was a bad idea…

Not sure why Stokes as captain been questioned mind after he has more or less transformed the fortunes of this team over the last year.

Agree with you the failings certainly not down to him

Like a lot of top sport it’s about seizing the moments which we haven’t

60 (sixty) more extras conceded. Despite playing some braindead cricket, with just a touch more discipline we would be 2-0 up.

Which makes it all the more frustrating.

Some very poor selections indeed.

Tongue should be playing this test. Woakes will not help you win a series against Australia nor does replacing Jimmy with Woakes which is almost a like for like inspire confidence

Promoting Brook to 3 after his poor dismissals against the short ball in the last test is baffling

Woakes bowled really well? The bowling hasn’t been an issue here.

Seizing the ball might be a better idea.
If we hadn't dropped straightforward chances we'd probably have a 1st innings lead with 142-7/
