No reason why it should either. Test cricket is time cricket not overs cricket. Always has been. The extra half hour is fine as a concession to the modern balls-bowled obsessed era if you must. Don’t see why we need more.

I was there yesterday. It was a cracking day of test cricket. Cricket helps itself just fine if it serves plenty of those days up.
