Well you're right I suppose, they're neither. They're lower order batsmen, in the team to bat, I still wouldn't call them the tail, inverted commas or not.
 
Love watching Pietersen bat when he plays like this, been a joy to watch, the arrogant bastard. 8-)

And on a side note, didn't essex boy try and tell us all that Imran Tahir was going to be the greatest spinner in the world? 9 overs for 45 today, bring back Paul Harris. :lol:

The same Morgan who can't buy a run in the Championship? The lad is never a test player, and neither is Bopara for that matter.

Best to stick with a young lad who at least has a chance of making it.

If it'd been Bopara we'd have been 161-5 straight away, no mental strength. Morgan doesn't have the technique to combat pace bowlers in test cricket.
 
Good knock by Prior.

Could be a good day for England if Kallis and Peterson can't bat until late in the innings and Smith has a dodgy knee. Would be nice to have a bit of cloud cover later in the day

Was just wondering that now we're close to the end of our innings. Surely Peterson can't open? AB and Smith?

Amla used to open when he first came into the team, didn't he? I assume he'll just move 1 up the order.
