Fuck in hell.......that made me chuckle!

Its true though, I cant be arsed to research it but im sure there are loads of managers that have done shit at first and then much better with time. It might not appear it, but it might be ok in the long run.

Or of course it will be f***ing shite and he will be to blame.

Wont happen mate. Not arsed aslong as we are up. We won the championship before at a canter and still went down. It means fuck all.

It means Chris Hughton is a better manager than the fat fraud who is capable of winning the league (twice) without spending a league record amount on transfers

But does it actually? Or does it mean he has just had a better season? Divvent get me wrong im a big fan of Hughton, always felt it was wrong how we got rid.

Benitez
  • Failed when he first took over as they went down
  • Has been a success in getting them back up
Not sure the above supports the high esteem in which he seems to be held, but given we are heading into the lower league I'd snap your hand off now for a manager that could get us promoted at the first time of asking.....would that make them a great manager, nah would just mean he had done the job he was paid to do.

I dont understand this.

Surely if we finished second it shows its not a one horse race? This whole arguement screams bitterness. If you win the championship next season then fair enough. Im happy just to be promoted.

I think it's because at the beginning of the season, after spending 50 million on players, your fans were putting bets on you's not losing a game all season

Rafa has used up all he north-east luck in one season. Enough for five years at least.

Be quiet you bore. Come back when you haven't had one of your dozens of penalties you've got this season chalked off for fuck all.

Chris Hughton will almost have my utmost of respect but you're unsufferable.

think its more to do with the fact that we will be in no position to buy our way back up like your lot have done , not having a pop mind it still needed winning.

theres not an argument against that , hughtons achievement with the players he has deserves far more credit than rafa. Even the most staunch nufc fan would agree with that surely.

Every Newcastle fan I know would have gladly taken 2nd place in August. Brighton and Hughton deserve it too, fair play to them, they're a good team.

Is making a £30m profit in the transfer window buying your way back up? And how many horses will be in the race next season? Given the limited amount of money we'll be able to bring in I think our net outlay will be much the same. I'd certainly trust Benitez to deliver ahead of Moyes.
