2ND ASHES TEST: LORDS

Nobody in the media was talking about it yesterday, apart from us on here like, now sure enough he's out of the game with concussion... disgusting that he was allowed to bat like that

I don't think Smith will be back in time for the next test. In Ice Hockey, concussions once diagnosed mean at least a couple of weeks out. Massive opportunity for England if so.

Mikey said yesterday if they get a replacement. Then Smith wouldn't be allowed to play again for 7 days.

Yet now saying no decision has been made on Smith availability for the next game in 3 days.

How the fuck does that work then mikey.?

Big Big chance for us here today and the next test if Smith IS out

Of course the aussies will cry their eyes out and tells we "only won because Smith was missing" at which point we can remind them that the best seam bowler in the history of cricket was injured after 30 mins of the 1st test
Mind if you’re going to make that argument re Anderson then 2005 and McGrath is the natural counterpoint to that

Hopefully the official confirmation that Smith is out will filter down to Stokes and Buttler fairly quickly. Nothing stupid, sensible batting until lunch then open the shoulders for an hour or so after lunch to set them 220-250ish. Got to go for the win in this situation.

Why do you keep going on about there being a winner in this game

Best seam bowler in the history of cricket

True, but I also don't give a single fuck what an Aussie might say about it:D
Also worth remembering that McGrath got injured before the game started, was replaced by Kasprowicz, who wasn't exactly a pie chucker and then contributed 40 runs in the last innings, so didn't exactly destroy the game for them. We lost Anderson 30 minutes into the game and couldn't replace him.
