Well, if Jof bowls a ball like he did to Bancroft there's not a batsman alive will survive it. Maybe Bradman or peak-era Lara could have blocked it, but for mortals its unplayable. A lot has been made about this, but this average is only down there because he had to face Hernaga on crumbling wickets in Galle. Take Heranga out and it's not really a flaw.
