Lovely weather today, got a bit sunburnt anarl - 19 points through 9 thinking I could have a canny round on - walk off with 31 and a collapse like and england middle order

First comp of the year tomorrow though so let's see how it goes

Any recommend any good links course in north east, or within a few hours drive.

I play Dunstanburgh, Seahouses and Bamburgh a lot, just wondering if I have missed any good ones up that way or even in north Yorkshire

Try not to go if it's too windy. We played there years ago and our drives were almost coming back to us

Have you not tried Hartlepool, Seaton Carew or Cleveland??

Just a top golf course, the layout and individual holes are those of a top track (holes 1 & 18 are a bit rubbish. The greens have always been good when I've played there.

I wish I could say the same abut the sun but the weather here is supposed to perk up a bit next week. I was still wearing a woolly hat for a chunk of the round today.

Thankfully, I don't have the swamp to deal with due to playing a links course but the inland courses around here are struggling as it has been so wet and cold.
