If we somehow managed to do the double over them this season, I think they'd all implode.
We live in hope.

He sort of is here anyway. Titling a thread “2 derby defeats” is hardly uplifting ray of sunshine stuff! How long till the op starts moaning again?
It's not nerve wracking now?Aye but derby day used to be nerve wracking. Anything could happen. Now theyre full of plastics and if we lose, it to saudi blood money. It doesnt hit the same as losing to the proper mags
not to me noIt's not nerve wracking now?
No. Imagine we make a few good signings then play them at home in a European away week. We have to fancy our chances then - hopefully the fixture list will be kind to us.And a 17th place finish .
Would u take that ?
100 percent i would we've got to stay in it somehow for all the riches it brings
Promoted in 99 then finished 7th next season. Just saying.Unless its a freak of a season, the aim is just to susurvive.
Of course, already resigned to the first bit. Better question is would you take 6 points and relegation? I’d be sorely temptedAnd a 17th place finish .

Are they fuck Newcastle, just a Saudi toy.All this tripe about Newcastle are not Newcastle is just pathetic. Of course they are and it’s the first game we will all look for when the fixtures come out.
Can we beat them, of course we can. Will we stay up, of course we will.
Still Newcastle mate in the black and white and still our biggest game both home and away.Never a derby anymore. NUFC are dead, It's Saudi FC playing in their grave.
Are they fuck Newcastle, just a Saudi toy.
I'm not pretending at all.Still Newcastle mate in the black and white and still our biggest game both home and away.
It’s just daft all this pretending it’s not.
It feels exactly the same to me.I'm not pretending at all.
I was in the Leazes end when Gabbiadini put the ball in their net, and up in the gods when Shearer missed the penalty.
We played the mags in both those games, two teams and either side could have won.
Now we're playing a team backed by blood money and an entire state. It's not the same at all. It doesn't feel the same to me, it feels way less that the games I mentioned before.
