2 derby defeats

And a 17th place finish .
Would u take that ?
100 percent i would we've got to stay in it somehow for all the riches it brings

100% I’m not expecting us to get anything from the games against Saudi Arabia.

It won’t be like any other “derby” defeat given we’re up against an entire nation state.

We’re the only north east top flight team, who represent our region.

I think it’s changed personally. They’re a vehicle for Saudi Arabia to achieve their goals, Newcastle Utd as I knew it (“proper club”, etc) doesn’t exist currently
That cup game was pathetic, they had some lucky draw or something for tickets, some of them coming had never been to an away game before, and it was a very different type of following than ive seen before, just shite.

It’s a personal opinion. I know for plenty others it’s the same. It isn’t for me.

Wow. Find that incredible.
Would not care if the Pox were state owned and PL and we were still languishing in our pile of shite.
An FA Cup game against those bastards and it’s Derby on.
Win, lose or draw. Whatever the result gives me the chance to hate them with a passion.

We can wait……….

It's definitely watered down. The club I absolutely hated sold it's soul to the devil. This club is Saudi Arabia.
I agree and hope 40,000 others agree. Unfortunately, I'm worried that plenty would accept similar investment.

We managed to beat Man City after they’d been bought by a country.

It won’t be easy, and we’ll likely get beaten, doesn’t mean we can’t spring a surprise on our Saudi friends tho. All pressure will be off us and on them.

We can do way better than that. We have not seen this team at its full potential yet.

As far the mags, the last time we played them we had Michael Beale as manager and it will be a lot a lot different when we play them this time. They will do their usual of gassing themselves up and getting very cocky, to then shitting themselves on the day.
