19/11/16 - 5pm - Protest at the Murray Gates

Looking to sell a club bottom of the league without a win in 10, 8 games adrift with a threadbare squad not fit for purpose for about £200 million:lol:

Sensible majority or snivelling sycophants who are willing to go down with moyes because we will look daft getting rid of another manager?, i know which i find more embarrassing:oops:

Which lunatic told you that

It's the oldest trick in the book mate.

Anyone not standing around the gates in the dark, mumbling about Short, will be declared the cause of the problem ..... inactive cowards with red & white tinted glasses.

In reality the 'protesters' are either Mags or agenda driven ego maniacs.
Coming from you!!

f***ing hell:lol:

Dick said as much on the radio last night, man.

This is what people don't get - we are hardly an attractive asset to buy.
Like your lass telling you to get rid of the xbox so you put it on ebay for 50k, theres trying to sell and then theres trying to appease.

He's not trying to appease, he's trying to minimise his losses, which any of us would do in the same situation.

Anybody coming in would have to cover our external debts and invest massively in the playing squad which will stand at about 13 players come july.

If we were to go down they would also have to subsidise the wage which all told would probably come to around 200 million on top of the initial fee so about 350/400 million for what could be a championship club.

If he really wanted out and had our best interests at heart like he claimed the sale price would reflect that.

What an embarrassment you are. You have to be a mag.

No and, tbh, they never will.

Usual tactic of losing an argument and either resorting to personal insults or running away.

Nowt changes does it ;)

I thought I might have missed the unveiling, but couldnt be arsed to trawl through it all, up at 0430, walk the dogs, 80 mile drive, fishing, walk the dogs again. Jeez I am tired. Egg throwing, thats a thought :)

Well I'm still of the opinion short has had the best interests of the club at heart, tried to make us competitive and backed manager after manager. It's obviously failed, but tried all he could. So there'll be no hating or protests from me.

No he didn't. So again, a source for this claim that Advocaat or Allardyce were promised an extra £50m? And that would be on top of the £25m Dick spent that summer as well, the cheeky get.

This new breed of football fan, the one who thinks that he is entitled to have some mystery benefactor throw tens (if not hundreds) of millions of pounds at their club, really does amuse and frighten me.

I'd expect him to hand it over, like he promised Advocaat he would, and didn't, and promised Sam he would, and didn't.
He didn't promise Advocaat anything . Dick has been quoted as saying "the owner never said how much money would be available". so short didn't make him any promises .

So you read it somewhere ..... okey dokey, must be true
Ah, selective reasoning then:lol:

Press say trying to sell its true, but saying he wants his money back so the chinese dropped out, the press cant be trusted:lol::oops:

You're just getting dafter with every post, that's about enough stupidity for me.

Not that we'd be buying quality, then bringing in Adam Matthews?
So what exactly is the promise that short made to Advocaat? "I promise to buy quality" sounds a bit ambiguous, and Advocaat would have been an idiot to sign a contract on the back of it.
