She was appointed Club Secretary in 2007 under Quinn's watch then appointed CEO in 2011 under Short's watch. She should never have been given that position, had absolutely zero experience of running a multi million pound business and she was effectively learning on the job, the way she dealt with the Di Canio fiasco still sends chivers down my spine, so far out of her depth it's untrue.
the pdc fiasco was media driven against us. Nothing was said when he was Swindon. when he went back to west ham he was given a heros welcome and the same papers that lambasted us gave pdc glittering write ups

the football was terrible after a while with bruce. I think like a lot of managers, they do well for 2 or 3 years and then it falls away.
In fairness the football other than spells of Bruce's first couple of seasons has been dreadful full stop!
How with hindsight people can still say this was a good sacking is beyond me.

This hasn't been backed stuff is bollox.

Since we sold Bent we have spent 7m+ on Gyan, Wickham, Fletcher, AJ, Altidore, Giac, Rodwell, Alvarez, Lens, Khazri, Borini, Pappy and Ndong. Ignoring their wages that is 125m+.
Plus countless others for a little less (Graham, Scocco etc.) and we also committed to 13m on wages for Defoe.

Leicester, Southampton, Stoke, WBA, Swansea etc. have established themselves in the Prem for far less.

It's not a lack of funding. It's the relentlessly shit decisions. We all know that.

Sorry like, but some our fans are desperate for the club to make public statements and the likes.
I'm not, I never demand them. But things are getting worse by the week. We will be down to like 30-32k if this nonsense continues, away numbers are dwindling.

Let's keep it outside the stadium - the last things the players need is a hostile atmosphere when they're presumably low on GUTS.

It'll be radge against Hull in the SOL if we lose to Bournemouth and he's not sacked immediately.

If Hull went ahead - fuck me...

Hell on !!!

Given the crowds reaction, he probably had to go. Personally i wouldn't have got rid, but after the Wigan game there was probably no choice. Shame though.

Agreed, it would just be more constructive to channel the anger outside the stadium than in it. The issue is in the boardroom primarily IMO.

I cant really be fucked to go to matches anymore, like I want to spend extra time sitting outside some gates.

Unfortunately some don't though mate and we still hear "tight arse" or "doesn't want to spend" stuff about short. It's caught up with us now and pretty much writing off all that money, due to next to nothing coming back, then no wonder we are operating at a loss. Is that shorts fault? Not imo.

it was a bit over the top and I was a bit shocked at it but it was probably the best thing to do.

But that was his form at the time. It was only heading one way - down.
What was pardews when they finished sixteenth then started next season badly? Remember pardewout.com and all that stupidity. Seem to remember the mags insisting he was taking them down yet were tenth when he left. Much like Bruce he had earned more time but we pressed panic button instead.
