£75 Million

I don't think I'm that wide of the mark, mind. In today's market, 70 million for Gordon is pretty realistic. I know my opinion is not popular on here but it is mainly because he plays for Newcastle and isn't very likeable. He is still a very good player. Let's just seewhich club he goes to. If he does end up at a big club there's a reason why they'll want him. Some people on here calling him 'shite' clearly haven't got a clue.
Can’t understand why he wants to be away as I thought NUFC was the biggest clerrrrrb in the world 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ham seewich.

I really hope they keep this squad together a bit longer. They will get massive money for the likes of Gordon (inconsistent weasel), Livramento (always injured), Tonali (inconsistent, no where near as good as what he thinks he is).

In saying that, if it is the same people in charge of recruitment then it could be a car crash from them.

Their buying strategy last year was the opposite of what we did. Twice the price of fee for players who they thought would hit the ground running supposed to smaller fee & something to prove & hungry to do it. Most of our players came in to get first team football, move up a level or in Xhaka’s case, join a project. There doesn’t appear to be the same need from the Mags signings. & they’re left with a bit of a rudderless ship.

Nonsense that mind. If he played for anyone other than Newcastle people on here wouldn't be as negative about him. He's a regular England player, gets goals, causes havoc. We don't have a winger on his level.
It's not nonsense, and it's not only because we hate Newcastle but because a lot of us pay closer attention to him due to being our rivals AND socialising with mags who watch him every week. If he played for West Ham or Villa maybe we would just be impressed by his goals total, but because of the above we're aware it's hugely padded with pens and goals against SPL-level teams in Europe, and that his open play stats in the PL have been pathetic for a calendar year or more.

If he's starting for England in the summer, England will do the square root of bot all in the World Cup.

He's also acquired a name for downing tools. Not a good trait to be known for. What's to say he won't do it at Bayern if he went there as well...
He'd get short shrift in the Bundesliga generally and particularly in Munich if he thought that would be accepted by the fans. They'd not put up with tantrums and threats especially if he wasn't pulling up trees previously.
