Cattermole

A man who's played nigh on his entire career in the Premier league has looked decent in a few games in league 1. Well bugger my bot. He's never bossed a game for seasons. The blokes finished at a professional level. Let him go.

He has done that this season!! Blind as a bat

I seriously question your mental aptitude if you think Max Power and McGeouch are better than him, Max Power has been absolutely shocking for 90% of his time here

Not slagging him off making observations on what I have watched

I know you aren't yeah

I really don't get this Cattermole love-in with some on this board. A couple of decent passes but did nothing to brag about tonight and spent much of the game marking empty space in midfield. I concede he's had his moments this season but overall it's like we're playing with 10 men most of the game. It was the same with O'Shea, pointing at others to mark up but doing sod all themselves. We definitely need a working midfield, that's the engine room of any team but with us we have a knackered bigend and broken crankshaft with Cattermole.

At the time I bet you weren’t saying that
Plenty questioned the length of the contract at the time. Most thought a couple years extension at the most given that he still had over a year left on his deal at the time. A five year extension was always ridiculous.

Lots of games coming up in Feb, rotation will be key especially from the bench, which is where I would start Catts from.

If ever a game highlighted that he is finished, it was tonight. The Man City kids showed him up.

He was completely bypassed all night. Players went past him as if he wasn’t even there. Then he gives a couple of stupid fouls away and gets booked. Stray passes all over the place and constantly on our players’ backs (even the times when he gave the ball away).

4 good diagonal balls out to the wings and one good tackle. That’s all he contributed.

I know there still a fair number of our fans that love him but we really need to get shot of him. I hate the thought of him getting a game and preventing the likes of Mumba and Robson getting an opportunity to develop.

When he went off there were fans around me giving him a standing ovation - granted only a few mind. Absolutely pathetic! What the fuck do they see?

10 times the player of McGeouch.

Then sir you are clearly an imbecile.

This ^ it's a waste of time starting with him but with so many games on the horizon there will be a place for him somewhere coming off the bench.

Does the manager have the bottle to drop him?

Big test coming up for Jack Ross for me now like. Straight in every time he’s been available (Charlton home aside). Has he got it in him leave him out now?

I think he should probably used as a " shutting up shop " sub when we are ahead and need to see the game out. Think he could be more useful in that role

can't play next to McGeouch- unless honeyman is there to.donthe running- he played brilliantly earlier in the season next to mumba and again with power and honeyman- someone said it earlier needs to be in a three with runners

I have been one of his biggest supporters, but last night and Sat'da, he sounded very below par compared to the rest of the season, to me. He only missed 3 games due to his suspension, too. Surely shouldn't be too ring rusty after that. Maybe he's heard of a swap deal with Leadbitter and ain't h
Appy about it!

He's a far better player than McGeouch. I've said my piece on him. He doesn't get into my best 11 and it seems he doesn't get into Jack Ross's as well, you imbecile.
