Was just looking through some of the Lions results from WI. Seems like the better known youngsters who've been mentioned here, like Woakes (in particular his batting), Harris, Hildreth and Taylor have been doing well.

Also seems like a young slow left arm bowler Danny Briggs has picked up a lot of wickets. Plays for Hampshire. Anyone know anything about him?

Not too much but IIRC he had an excellent Twenty20 campaign last season, very good economy rate.

He's the leading wicket taker in the WI domestic competition the Lions are playing in ... 33 wickets at a shade below 19. Impressive.
