Shaun Tait vs Virender Sehwag

Said Yardy must have gone home because Boycott had been slagging him all tournement and he wasn't good enough. In fairness he did tone it down a bit when he was told again he had gone home with a stress related illness.

This is on the BBC's website, not the best timing to be fair:

"I'm no doctor, I don't understand about depression and I can't comment on it. I certainly wouldn't be nasty about it because I don't know. I've never been in that position.

"If there's any blame attached it's partly to the selectors who have done an excellent job on picking the Ashes side but I'm sorry, [Yardy] is not good enough at this level.

"For me, he was always going to be a liability or a poor choice at international level out here."

Yeah not the greatest comments in the circumstances, already been picked up by The Guardian who are claiming the BBC have had complaints, and also hasn't gone down well on Twitter, with Iain O'Brien (Recently retired NZ bowler) calling him an "ignorant knob"

he might get sacked for this

I'd hope not, even though they are insensitive comments I wouldn't want to see a mountain made out of a molehill. I'd not be surprised though, it's leaked into other media outlets pretty quickly and doesn't come across well either way you look at it.

I'd expect nothing less from a 70 year old Yorkshireman mind

I wouldn't either but people have been sacked for less and its not exactly his first offence

I like Boycott, don't agree with everything he says but still a funny guy

Your right, and since the Ross/Brand scandal a little while ago I think the BBC are a bit more ruthless in their punishments for on-air misdemeanours.
