Calling someone young man is the lowest form of patronising.
treat people how you would like to be treated yourself
Have you turned into Socrates or something?
fed up of upstarts like you, if you dont like being patronized dont do it to other people
That's the second time in my life i've been called an upstart, the first time was once again by yourself.
By the way, that's patronised.
I'm happy to discuss Cricket etc with anyone, but you're inability to argue your point coherently makes it less than pleasurable. You also seem to have some sort of ranking system, in which only certain people may engage with you, based on how long they have posted on the Cricket board.
your right I do, as you get more respect from them as they have been on here a lot longer and dont need to make a name for themself.
If I have such an inability to argue my point why do you seek to engage in debate with me.....never understood this point.
I stay well clear of certain people on PF its not dificult
So you think I go onto obscure internet cricket message boards in an aid to make a name for myself?
My point was, that if someone begins to debate with you you tend to ignore what they have said and claim they have a vendetta against you or something of that ilk.
Maybe if your views were more factual and balanced instead of one-eyed, it would make for a more interesting all round debate.
simple, dont engage in debate with me
So you only want to talk to people who agree with you, basically?
Funny that because you often appear to contradict yourself from argument to argument.

if I did that as Andy alluded to I wouldnt engage with anyone. next
dont slag someone off then expect them to debate with you
Of the major debates (Anderson, Swann, Sajlol
and now Tahir) no one agrees with him.
What a bizzare turn of events.
It's just not cricket.![]()
I know this, just thought it was bizzare when I tried to debate with him he basically wouldn't as I hadn't been on the forum long enough or something.
He's always like this. During the Ashes he posted a thread with a list of the people who he was willing to debate with. I think it's just an excuse when one of the less regular cricket board posters has a go at him and proves him wrong.
And to think I tried to defend there being a cricket board clique, well EB is certainly trying to make one.
not at all, the Jimmy debate goes back many years, I dont need upstarts jumping in who havent been in the debate from the start
Indeed it isn't.
Anyway, to get it back on topic, I think Jimmy just about kept himself in the side with that 2-16 on Sunday. Bowled some great stuff.
