Depends how much you know your cricket. I followed SAust last year and they had one of the strongest batting line ups in their game. Klinger and Ferguson scored massively last year and Blizzard is thought as one of the best young players in the Aussie game averaging 90 in first class cricket so far.

Don't let facts ruin stuff.

how many have had international experience, compared to say NSW?

they only have 6 first class sides, so saying they are one of the best young players in Aus doesnt count for much

Not as many thats for sure but there batting was strong as out. Klinger who was just about top run scorer in the competition averaging 60 odd, Cozzie scored a load averaging well in his 40s as did Borgas. That fact that you know nothing about these players doesnt make tham poor.

I wouldnt say there were poor, they just dont have anywhere near the best batting line up in Aussie state cricket.

In the last 4 years they have finished 6th, 5th, 3rd and 6th OUT OF 6 in Aussie first class cricket.

Down mainly to not being able to bowl sides out and playing on the flattest pitch in Aus. The same pitch Jimmy bowled on yesterday.

Somerset is the flattest track in the English game, they have finished 3rd and 2nd out of 18 last 2 years......poor riposte squire

Point stands - SA have a poor bowling attack that has cost them. They have good batting, a flat pitch and Jimmy did the business on it.

how many batsman with international pedigree bar Ferguson...None

Second top scorer in the entire Sheffield Shield competition with an average of 65, three other players averaging over 40 and as SA have nowt in the way of top international bowlers their batsmen face them all.

You started the thread he took 3 for 60 on a flat track under sunny skies against a team that scores plenty of runs. You will have plenty more good days on this thread but you really have to learn when to cut your losses.
