Sunderland Hooligans

When i was a kid there was this lad who lived next door to my mate, he was always telling us storys of away days and stuff, 1 that sticks in my mind was Leicester away (i think) all the sunderland lot were sat in a boozer and this lad set off a home made rocket laucher??

Ring any bells?

was on spurs site a while back and a mag pxxxxx was asked about our rivalry etc..and he mentioned n/s but failed to mention the facts them not showing all day not getting sorted etc etc...basically turned everything around even 90% was documented by ob ... gxxxs .never been on for a while now first thing they ask what u done in 40years at scumville etc...

That's true and it has always made me feel safe at away games over many years knowing that are some very handy lads amongst us. The most recent example was the first leg of the play-off semi-final at Palace - mentioned earlier in this thread. The Palace thugs were very cocky when they approached the old folks, women and disabled at the front of us away fans but they rapidly dispersed as the handy lads from the rear went towards and over the barriers...

Ah they all do that they forget to mention hibs 2003 or even on the way up to newcastle bath lane even. Im well out of it all now anyway i was more the unorganized way of it when you had to defend yaself where ever you went,served my time for north sheilds so i know what the twats did that day horrid little bastards will never forgive em.

Hibs see earlier posts mate about taking the piss in scotland all day was on youtube but think it got removed on the a request of a lad up in court,then the way back "come and get your city back" "easy":lol:

as for northsheilds yes i did get a good kicking by the gremlins and their locals with nice pool balls in socks. less said about the second the better stunk from day one and many lads were jailed including myself.

Did you lot leave from the bell in a mini bus that day?

A battle was arranged, originally the mag lot were coming to the Fulwell area, then it was moved to South Shields, then it was moved to North shields over the course of the evening.
Whilst it was constantly changing , the Sunderland lot were getting more pissed and more pissed of and thefrefore slowly dropping in numbers.
Eventually the Sunderland lot made their way to North Shields via the ferry and went to a pub or two in the landing area. Eventually lots of Mags and locals turned up, far outnumbering the Sunderland lot and a battle ensued.
The mags superior numbers saw them get the better of it and there were a few Sunderland lads left in a bad way, one very bad. There was even a stabbing by the cowardly bastards.
The "organisers" got jail time .
That's my understanding of it, no doubt an online pseudo hooligan will know better.

The bell was one of many of the mags fables that day as they were in the bell then south sheilds! got a taxi to s.sheilds with a few others and met the rest from the bell.

Know youl be taking the piss but:lol: i was mortal drunk could hardlies stand up myself,served my time not pround of it but happend it hangs for the rest of mylife i went shit happend my own fault ah well ey.

Thing is i was that pissed i did not know danger like majority of us we had a try i was part of seaburn when the hey day counted but now im just some one who looks on my past. i was hit with pool balls glassed across thr back of the head and kicked about luckily i got up and got away, i was not on the scale of DF but ive still got my scars,but in my case it was down to booze and the amount i drunk that made me go over i felt like f***ing superman.
