Probably just anyone who goes out in the groups then.Depends on when they were knocked out mate
Four weeks off is the usual allowance after a tournament (or it was)

I went to last season’s home pre season match by myself, really enjoyed it tbh. Would’ve laughed my head off if someone had told me that day the season we would go on to have.I’m not. If you ignore the shit attendance it’s a good opportunity for new signings to get used to the stadium before the first meaningful match.
It’s just marginal gains, but it worked well for us last season.
I've just sat in the home end when we played them there previously, didn't have any issues. Albeit they might be slightly more busy given we are in the prem now and they're back in L2. We were in L1 when I last went.Tempted by York but imagine tickets will be hard to get

I think a loyalty point is the only chance you’ve got. If people didn’t turn up for Xhaka’s debut then nothing else will entice themi was away last year but this summer got friends visiting from france that weekend so its absolutely ideal.
hopefully they price it well and it'll be a good attendance. hoy in a loyalty point and you'd be looking at 30,000+
Metro is off and the A1 is closed that day too.The Mag rail engineers will have engineering work on the East Coast Main Line for that weekend marra.
Replacement bus service all the way![]()
Personally don’t think they should be giving loyalty points for attending a friendly, and I say that as someone whose points have been on the decline in recent years. They’re good days out, we went to the other one a few years ago and mixed up our matchday routine by drinking down the coast instead of town pre match. Even if you don’t drink, it’s a day out in the sun and warm weather spent at our brilliant stadium with all the improvements being made around it, and without the pressure or nerves of a big ‘real’ match. With being by myself I had a walk down from Southwick, around the ground, down Roker Avenue and had a pint in the Navy Club, match, then back over town and got the bus home.i was away last year but this summer got friends visiting from france that weekend so its absolutely ideal.

Shame there's no Shields / Gateshead games. Used to quite like those to start pre season
Hopefully get some more french players inMakes sense getting a couple of games with decent French sides. SAFC - French - Owner, DOF, Head Coach and key players like ELF, Nordi and Wilson. I believe we get quite a bit of positive and in depth coverage by the French Sports Media, good to build on the connection.

I was sick to death of telling people that pre season results mean nowt.I hope we remember the poor results we had last pre-season and don’t go into panic mode again thinking it matters
Yes, but he is also from a very prominent French family and was raised primarily in Marseille. The point being we are apparently quite football news-worthy in France. Because of him, Regis, Florent and the others.Hopefully get some more french players in
