Years following the lads

40 for me, wood with ropes on and cowboy suppers. Away games were Wembley and cup runs until about 97/98 when didn’t have to rely on my brilliant Dad who was the guy whom built my wood on ropes thing.

First game in 1992 and pretty much been going since I was 3. Think most will have been going since we were Bairns.

However my seven year old started watching us
League one play off win
Championship play off win
7th in premier league
And now Europa league football
Lucky bastard.

Like a mini version of a Man City fan born in 2008. Only had the good times really (Beale season apart).

13th September 1975 when my life was ruined forever.
51 years, over 1700 games and fooking ruined.

In fairness a spattering of good times followed by bad times, then rock bottom times.
Last 10 years the worst of the lot and this current **** the worst of the lot of them.
A slow painful death and nothing to look forward to. Not even looking forward to the new season. Honestly think this might be my last season of a season ticket. Depressing.

Well played bud, I doff my cap to anyone who supports a team further down the leagues as such and apologies as that's not a dig

Taken to my first game aged 4 and now approaching 70.
Big gaps when my uncle stopped going then me moving to London aged 25 to London , young kids etc but last 30 years pretty regular.
Ranks amongst the very best of times at present but 73 cup run will probably never be topped but who knows, this group are full of very pleasant surprises and looking forward to my first European campaign.

Well I’m 36 and I was if I see it at least once before I die il be happy 😂

I I have similar over the years pal

70

70 years???

I felt like that at times during the L1 years. So pleased I persevered

Luckily you only dipped your toe in them.
Always destined to climb back up and you just never fitted in.

Next season our 6th consecutive in the basement, our longest stint in our history.
If National League would mean a new start and everyone of these current bastards were removed I would take it this minute.
That includes Holloway and would gladly drive him to a care home of his choice.

Whats your high point following Swindon
And then your low point

73 years. From standing in the Fulwell end when we were still a top 6 team with a full team of internationals including Shack, Trevor Ford, Willie Watson etc. Seeing the first flood-lit games and Moscow Dynamo in the pouring rain. The disaster of the 1957 relegation, the yo-yo years including Peter Reids team. The 73 cup win, Then more yo-yo years till 8 years ago when disaster struck. Followed by the miracle of the last year which I never dreamed could happen. Favourite players - Shack, Stan Anderson, Charlie Hurley, Kevin Phillips, Niall Quinn and now Granit Xhaka. I'd like to see a trophy win next season.
