Talbi's house up for sale

He does indeed.
Fair play to him. I'm a gateshead lad and don't buy into the whole players having to live in Newcastle, away teams staying on Newcastle banter. We should be united as a region outside of football and we could have a real voice, like the North West do.

Is he away or was he just renting and the owner is selling?

You can see it's his in the video below him and Diarra are playing pool in the same room just after the 12 minute mark:

So you must own a home to be entitled to use à pool room?

It really brought home to me how mental the demand is in the Home Counties that when Kane was at Spurs he was struggling to get a mortgage for the house he wanted  . Outside of the absolute elite demand areas surely a high end footballer is the dream for a mortgage broker
Not when he’s a flash in the pan.

I don’t see why the club would own them tbh, probably just a case of not many houses at that price range/area and when one player/coach leaves another comes in and that house is back on the rental market or if the club sack/sell somebody they take over the lease for the last few months and if somebody wants it they can take it over.
The mags own houses.

I work in one n one player was there 2 year back n another now. 16k is the rent I believe!!!

I think if we are in the Premier League long term it might be worthwhile but players we signed 2 years ago will be in very different financial positions to those we are signing now. 16k a month rent is such a stupid amount of money for 99.9% of football fans but I bet for players it’s not even questioned.

Amazing house but they could have put a bit of space between the houses.
This is the bit that gets me. Everyone commenting on the ugly interior but I think you're the first to point out that it's a 1.8m house that has neighbours from two sides either completely looking over the garden or basically having direct line of sight into all the large windows.

Fair enough if you live in a city apartment and so will be paying a big whack to live on top of other people but you're buying a detached house, why the fuck put up with a house built about 2 meters next to you

16k a month from a salary of what 320k a month is a pittance I guess. What a world to live in eh mate.

Anyway I know an average footballer who played for pools, sheff utd, leeds, pompey, spurs etc purchasing a house at each.
Sat on an unreal portfolio whereas a player above say Saint Maximus is blowing a million every 5 years.

Mind wouldnt suprise me if clubs use these as an intro treat/perk etc or maybe rents took off them before deductions.

Photo 25 looks like a pit village house overlooking the back garden.

Imagine banging a supermodel in yer conservatory n some charver with a roly in his mouth is washing his fiesta with forever young blasting.
