I can't remember what I had for dinner Tuesday, let alone a World Cup the year before I went to uni.
 
Used to love the World Cup. f***ing ruined now having the bald crook running FIFA, 48 teams for no purpose and the worst of all in Trumpland. Can't stand the orange buffoon. Hope he gets on the pitch for a photoshoot and someone twats a ball off his head. Just hope an outsider wins it. Morocco? Would at least make a great story.

Mexico is a joke at the minute. They aren’t and won’t be prepared. Cardboard toilet signs at the Azteca, teachers rioting in the streets, training grounds are a mess, mariachis playing racist songs to South Africa etc etc. they’ll get the blame for everything and some of it deserved

I just looked to see when it was awarded. It was June 2018. Things were a lot calmer then.
