Tin hat on but I thought the Russia WC was decent. They hadn't invaded anyone yet and it was fair shout giving it to them in the first place, they were a big proper football nation who hadn't already hosted.
 

Looking at the groups there is practically no games worth watching. They've let that many teams in that the groups are just tinpot. When nonsense like Curacao, Haiti, and Scotland are in its lost its prestige.
 
I’m going out to Canada next week ticketless hoping to get to 3 games

As it stands the Canada opening game is about 450 on resale and the Ghana game is 250

Not great but not exactly 2k which everyone is banging on about

Groups are easy to get, knock outs will be more expensive. Tickets in Canada and the United Mexican States will be cheaper than the United States of America.
 
It wasnt until I started a sweepstake that I noticed how many utterly pointless nations are involved too.

Iraq, Qatar, Jordan, Curacao, Haiti...

Whats the point? Cant say I hold much interest tbh.

Thats 450 each right? That means you're looking at close to a grand if theres two of you. Obviously everyone is there on their own which means 450 quid for a game of football perfectly acceptable.

Too many games, bad kick off times, little jeopardy to get out of the group when 32 qualify out of 48. The heat will mean the game is played at snail’s pace, and the 3 minute water breaks might be necessary but were inevitable given the USA’s reliance on and thinking it normal to have adverts at every opportunity.

It’s a small point but also the top 4 seeds which includes England are scheduled to avoid each other until the semi finals.

What is the best KO times for you? If you want them televised mid afternoon UK time some games would be kicking off early morning.I think 18-00 and 21-00 KOs are ideal for supporters attending due to transportation to and from the game's.
