Weststand
Central Defender
I think he’s excellent.
Would take him here if the price is right.
He would be no good in our team whatsoever tbh...holds onto the ball far too long..he wouldn't get the space in the Premier league..

Imagine what Sadiki and Le Fee are worth.......Being linked with Man Utd, Spurs, Palace, Leeds, Forest among others. Talk of a price tag exceeding 30 million.
Great championship player no doubt, but am I missing something here?
He's 24 in a few weeks time since is hardly an up and coming youngster. I don't think I've seen hype like this since Adam Wharton
Someone's had a fewDan Neil pissed all over him every time.
Well now the figure being cited for HH is 15m so my stance remains remains unchangedWharton was 4 years younger when he got his move.

My Everton supporting mate reckons they've been after him for at least a season or two. I mentioned the highest he's played is Championship level and he's been the best in a poor team and he retorted that they signed Tim 'Header' Cahill when he'd only ever played in lower leagues. Must be something in the water on Merseyside.Never seen a more of Everton player / signing.
ManU paid £30m for Amad. They surely wouldn't pay the same for an older, less resaleable Hackney surely? The Man Utd link to me looks a lazy one due to Carrick's boro connection. If they're spending £30m on a midfielder, they're getting better than Hayden Hackney.
I can see someone like a Forest looking at him if they know they're going to lose anderson. It could be a cheaper replacement who has potential to play a similar role. Would be a gamble though given he's never kicked a ball in the premier league at 24 year old
I suspect they're trying to get a bidding war going to drive the price up. Clubs are far too clever for that though.
I can see where this is going to go. PL sides will be sitting tight for as long as possible knowing the closer it gets to deadline day the more likely boro are to slash the price. If the window closes and he's still at Boro he will go for nothing - they can't risk that, and everyone else knows it.
I wouldn't be against us joining the race late in the window, i'd take him for £15m ish. That might seem low now, but on deadline day it's £15m or potentially nothing, Boro might just take it
Just even to make up home grown numbers. Surely Burra won't be taking just £10m.You must be logged on to see media items
should be all over this if that figure is accurate![]()
Year left on his deal, think they'll be disappointed with the fee regardlessJust even to make up home grown numbers. Surely Burra won't be taking just £10m.
Is contract duration such a deciding factor these days? Them up the road wasted about £55m on Wissa who only had a year left.Just even to make up home grown numbers. Surely Burra won't be taking just £10m.
Agreed, very fair priceYou must be logged on to see media items

Palace would be a good destination for him mind. They've made it a bit of a specialty identifying and bringing on board top Championship talent and then helping them make the step up.My Everton supporting mate reckons they've been after him for at least a season or two. Mind my Ipswich supporting mate reckons they tried to buy him for the season, prior to last year, when they last got promoted and he turned them down, as he thought Burra had a better chance of promotion. He must love his mam's parmos.

Forest is a good shout mind for the reasons you've outlined.
And Hayden's agent is definitely chummin the water to try and drum up interest. Plus Burra won't want a Dan Neil-esque situation to develop where they won't get any return on their "Jewel in the Crown". Think he's earned his move after staying to try and help them into the PL.
Boro better invest that 10 mill in some strikers or else they’ve got no chance of improvingYou must be logged on to see media items

I am married to a smoggy, all her cousins are season ticket holders at Boro and they are hoping he goes for big money to replace him with a decent upgrade. He apparently gets caught in possession repeatedly Man on,Man on,Man on,oh Hackney reminded me of Dan Neil. We need to stay clearHe is a proper David Moyes type signing, so let them have him. Definitely not a top 10 standard player.
Need to do a better job than they did with the £11m on Strelec and Conway.Boro better invest that 10 mill in some strikers or else they’ve got no chance of improving
