Nissan

Why on earth would you want to go from working Fri night back in on Sunday night
They complained that if overtime on on Saturday, you're back in Sunday night Day shift after Nights is actually worse than the week of Nights for me. Cant sleep on days and surviving on a few hours sleep each night.

Who is going to build the Chinese cars if the deal comes off, when all the skilled lads are on line 2-3 shifts
Line 1 are getting sent back over to build chery... They also going to be on slower line speed to A and B shift... Hopefully my shift doesn't follow line 1 shift having to pick up their shite every day

Any announcements on the type of cars to be built? Can’t understand if they are agreeing to make rival C segment cars for the same market. Almost feels like a phased takeover.

Reminds me of when Marshall got a Swedish company to do all their branded bluetooth headphones and speakers and that part of the business did so well they ended up buying Marshall outright. No disrespect to those working at Nissan; I think the company is better off going back to making cheaper cars instead of pretending they're a brand that people are going to pay daft money for badge appeal.
