Sniffing round Reggie…

He turned down Brentford in the summer, who were an established PL club vs us, a promoted one.

All things have cycles but I feel like he isn’t ready to leave here yet. The only club I could see wanting him is Spurs from the “big 6”. Those clubs have to play an attractive style of football and whilst it’s been successful, RLB hasn’t shown he can do that yet.

The reverse irony as after the first nine games RLB took us from second to mid table as a slow boring team which otherwise could have been playing champions league football.

With 3 games to go we showed our real potential.

Imagine what we could have achieved without " the professor " holding us back
Have a bit play with your didgeridoo blue, this footy malarkey's really not for you.

Unless it's a top club coming in then I can't see why he'd leave. Then again I couldn't understand why Neil went to Stoke, so maybe someone like Fulham will attract him.

I think Stoke offered Neil daft money and a long contract. Being a manager is tough work, you can soon find yourself off the carousel and managers of Neil’s generation were never big earners on the pitch.

We will surely be offering Regis a new contract on big money.

Teams above us aren't going to want Le Bris, they all want a very specific style. Arteta might be getting more agricultural with Arsenal but if he had started like that he'd have been out on his arse.
Can't believe Arteta was given manager of the year above Le Bris he hardly won the league Man City gifted it to him

This. Can see Man U needing a manager again in the next 12-18 months. Not sure he would fit how they want to play football though.
I don’t want him going anywhere but I would also suggest that he could set a team up in a very different way given the resources. The style of play we have reflects our relative abilities. He is intellectual enough to adapt IMHO, which makes him way better than Amorin, and he is clearly a better coach than Carrick.

The arrogance of the football pundits and FA will continue to overlook him no doubt mate so I’m not too concerned. Let’s keep doing our thing under the radar, the fact he didn’t win the manager of the season award says so much about the arrogance of the league.
The French FA?

Aye but they won't look at the fact he's been pragmatic because that's what is needed, they all just want managers whose teams play pretty football and are on the front foot all the time. The data nonces at the clubs will just point to our xG and move swiftly on.
Agreed. If we see the play develop like we are seeing signs of over the last 5 games or so, perhaps there will be more interest next summer if we have another good season. But I agree for now, "bigger/CL" teams won't want his style of play
He said in that interview yesterday that our entire play model is built around the fact the crowd goes mental when a tackle flies in, so it's not like he couldn't coach us to play more free flowing. But as it stands they'd overlook him.

Teams want more than one season before theu even consider him, so were safe this summer. And even then, defensive coaches arent fashionable to the likes of Spurs who would be the sort of club to poach. They got their hands burnt with Nuno and Frank, who are similar profiles.
Agree. The likes of Glasner, Iraola, Silva, have shown they can do it consistently over a number of seasons. Still no guarantee they'll make the step up but they're proven over a prolonged period.
