Not in my opinion - Damned United film was not quite an 'absolute load of shit' to borrow your provocative words, but not much better.
Billy Bremner looked like a cartoon character, the Chesterfield ground was unconvincing, there was CGI everywhere and the acting wooden. I read the book before watching the film - I didn't particularly care for the author's writing.
 
Was mildly entertaining. Not sure why Southgate twitched whenever he said anything. Also why were they sat in the Emirates pretending it was wembley?
