Dear England

Went to see Dear England last night.
Definitely in my opinion worth seeing. Generally a fun entertaining show but some serious points highlighted.
Wonder what Jordan Pickford makes of how he is portrayed? Not so sure on the casting of a 5ft 6in actor as Rashford😂
Overall an entertaining evening and probably more entertaining than last night's England game.
However a long way to go than to be more entertaining than The Sunderland Story.

I saw it last night. Enjoyed it. Loved that Sunderland was mentioned a good few times as a result of the Jordans, while our lovely neighbours weren’t referenced at all.

I thought the Pickford portrayal was pretty accurate!! He is completely mental. Kane was scarily accurate, especially his voice. Thought it was really well done.

It’s good and I say that as someone who KNOWS repeat KNOWS not THINKS actually KNOWS that theatre is the most overrated of the artforms. Of course anyone who has seen it could knock up a list of SMBrs who will hate it for predictable reasons before they even get out of the theatre.

I didn’t have you down as a philistine sir. Theatre is, as anyone with sense knows, the finest of the art forms.
