Matty Young .

L1 for me next season then the Championship the season after. He’d be first choice at any L1 club. No point in wasting a season or half a season on the bench at a championship club.

This every time.
Performed in League Two and now needs League One and regular game time.
No point going to a Championship Club as a number two.

Mind you can’t think of any worse clubs than Salford. Thats just me though. Bloody hate going there and knowing we’ve got to go again.
Manchester though is decent.

He could certainly play in Europe and the League and FA Cups. He looks like he's got a higher ceiling than Elborg.

Can see Patto being kept for that role next season . We need homegrown players and he has far more experience then Elborg .
Can see Elborg being sent on loan he needs more games under his belt and even though he done ok when played he frightens the shit out of me for some reason . If I feel like that watching him it cant be that assuring for the defenders infront of him .

Quite a few championship clubs interested in taking him on loan
I'd say if he will get games, then go for it. He's young but clearly talented so if the club feel the move works for his progression then it can only be a good thing.

Just out of curiosity I've looked at his and Roefs relative career progression (not comparing them as players, just their game time). Young is still a year younger than Roefs was when he made his professional debut, but has still made more professional appearances than him up to today. So that says to me he doesn't need league experience any more, he now needs a bigger challenge.

He needs to still be playing. So hopefully championship. League 1 also fine if guaranteed 1st choice. He will be our number 1 at some point, injuries permitting.

I genuinely think he will be England no.1 at some point
