Wrestling - Part 3

I loved Mania 15 as a kid, but watched it again a few months ago and it really is horrendous. Even the best match on the card in Austin/Rock isn’t even the best match they had together and in fact the following months Backlash rematch was better than this.

I still have that soft spot for ButterBean smacking Bart Gunn in to another dimension like!

Loved the build up between Austin and Rock and the match was decent but the rest of that WM was rough. I remember thinking att that the presentation of WWF didn't fit WM and it just felt like another ppv. It's still one of my favourite periods of wrestling though.
El Grande Americano v El Grande Americano in AAA popped up on YouTube earlier. Never ever watched AAA before in my life but I put it on anyway.

Best match ive seen in years. (Thats not a high bar) but it was brilliant
I've just watched it, really enjoyed it. For a gimmick that is absolutely stupid they've definitely got some mileage out of it.

Less than two months since WM and they've totally ruined the auras of Fatu and Oba by having them lose to part time 40 year olds

Welcome to WCW 2026.
They've completely fucked up Fatu mind. He'll still do well and be used as a main eventer but what in the name of Christ have they been doing with him in recent months. Loses to Roman and Cole straightaway on commentary "the warewolf has been domesticated and neutered by Roman Reigns" and then have him get bossed about immediately by the f***ing Usos. Idiots.

Femi the same. What was the point other then Lesnar gets to have the third match in Minneapolis. Smackdown Vs Raw on the PS2 churned out more sense on the career mode than this shite.

Aye it was terrific. Undertaker seems to be doing a cracking job down there.

WWE is just about back to 2018 Vince off his tits levels of shittness. That Raw was f***ing honking!
This stinks of TKO interference. I'm not saying HHH can't book garbage but he's gone from doing great stuff years ago to more generic stuff as he's got his feet under the table 🤔

Telling that they've added the fantastic Grande Americano match and back story onto the end of Raw now. These are two joke characters in WWE who tore the place down in AAA because the story was so good.

Very true. When he was left alone with NXT years ago everything was pretty simple and effective then when he took over fully from Vince McMahon at Summerslam 2022 things definitely improved for a long while. Everything has gone down the swany since around royal rumble last year. For example what they've done to Jacob Fatu is criminal.

AAA is out of sight for TKO so they won't interfere. WWE is the main brand. They'll push for what is best for them rather than wrestling.
