Slot sacked.


Its mad that, even with all the money they spent last summer, they need a rebuild.
They need two centre backs, a left back unless they think Kerkez will improve, a right back as the new one can't stay fit, a right forward, left forward..... dare say Macalister and Gravenberch need competition.

Managing Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford etc is a different job to managing the likes of Liverpool. Feyenoord play in a worse league but are a big club with expectations so at least Slot had that kind of experience.

I wasn't impressed with Bournemouth against us tbh, way too open and didn't make any adjustments at all when they went 2-0 up - it was no surprise we ended up winning 3-2. Completely lost their heads towards the end too.

Obviously he must be doing something right to get Bournemouth to 6th but I'd like to see him do well at a Villa, Sunderland, Leeds, Saudi level club first if I was running Liverpool.

Aye forgot about Leoni, basically signed then done his ACL, looking at the liverpool website they have another player called Bajcetic who they bought from Las Palmas who has been out all season but hes more a defensive midfielder. Cant be expecting either of them to just start next season. I guess Slot going makes the Geertruida to Liverpool deal a bit less likely and hopefully we sign him, If it is Iraola I bet Senesi is on the phone to his agent asking if he can get out of the Spurs deal and follow him to Liverpool.
