Can Hearts do it?

Not dodging the question. I have no idea how many teams have made comebacks in Play Off finals. Nothing to suggest Sunderland couldnt have done it
Nothing to suggest it apart from history.

The answer is none. It’s possible we could have been the first. But the overwhelming probability is that we wouldn’t have.

I did watch a couple of the hearts games as the season was ending and one thing that really stuck out to me when VAR was called upon, was that they really don’t have enough cameras at their games to use it.

There was this incident, the handball in the penultimate Celtic game, and then wasn’t there an incident in the Celtic vs hearts game on the last game of the season too?

Ill stand by view

VAR is killing football and needs to be binned off
No chance it's getting binned. Look what happened between villa and Newcastle in the cup game and that farce of a penalty decision that wasn't given when there was no VAR. Soon as that happens people, quite rightly will say, why isn't VAR being used.

As for that hearts penalty. Ref wants looking at, history, contacts, bank accounts the lot. He had absolutely no interest in what the var was saying to him and couldn't get his answer out quick enough.

Funny that some on here used to say it was absolutely laughable to suggest any referee could ever possibly be corrupt.

Did anyone actually say corruption was impossible?

I reckon most of the time it’s just people making mistakes. This one smells whiffy, granted.

Never said anything about being back in the Championship

But if you think the constant stopping of games, waiting to see if a finger nail has someone offside, not being able to celebrate a goal properly just to name a few if you think that is improving football then be my guest. VAR is f***ing awful.
That’s English footballs version of var. Everywhere else is faster, better and less controversial. Old Firm obviously discounted.

UEFA and other national officials believe the PL encourages controversy via VAR to create talking points thus pundit material for the countries all ower the world who take the PLs footage and more do than any other countries. Ching ching go the tills of the English game.

I mean the ref is right that from the main angle being used it doesn't appear like the Motherwell players foot is planted at the point of contact. Why that matters I don't know, but if the foot needs to be planted for it to be a penalty then the ref got it right. Maybe some weird rule quirk about a player getting into position to be where the ball is going rather than getting into a place to block a player.

I've looked at various footage tonight and in the world of AI I dinnar what to trust as parody!? Are SFA VAR actually sponsored by Specsavers?

If it was corruption then why did the VAR call him over in the first place? Surely they’d all be in league with each other?

Don’t need everyone to be corrupt to rig something
Then why did the referee not rule out Hearts’ goal in that game when Shankland nudged the defender? Or why didn’t he give Motherwell a penalty when he easily could have done? Was he on a one man mission? Who was in and who wasn’t? Sounds like the worst organised corruption ring I’ve ever heard of.
