Looks like the referee has totally ignored what is a clear impediment and the recommendation of the VAR officials who seem to think it's a clear cut penalty.....for what ever reason.

You can punch a ball further than you can head! Also O’Neil thinks the elbow was Fashanu on Mabbutt levels of aggressive. So it’s a definitive pen that pal.

I couldn’t work out the relevance of this. You can foul and be fouled with feet not planted

Looks to me like there is contact but not a great deal and the player could have just carried on but thinks I should really go down. Wanted Hearts to win the league but I'm glad thats not given as a pen.

Shoddy never ref again. Sounds harsh , but he's corrupt and no room for corruption

There is contact and it knocks his left foot and I'm not sure but it looks like he then clips the back of his right calf. Obviously he milks it as he goes down but it looks worse in slow-mo unlike real time right at the start.

Those on side of foot hurt mate. It was a penalty but doesn't surprise me . Nor did other game with the handball.

People say VAR is a waste of time but he’s been taken over by VAR, showed clear angles of a foul and he’s still went aye nar play on lads
